Sudine Shantal Clarke also known as SUDIEPOP, the daughter of Marcia & Edwin Clarke on the 26th June 1992 on the well known island of St.Marrten on the dutch side. the third oldest of seven siblings on her mother's side, and the fourth oldest on her father's side. Her parents are hard working people, who only wants the best for sudine, and wants her to strive for nothing less.
Throughout her childhood music was something that she has always been interested in and began to love singing as a hobby. She started to sing in a steel pan band on turtle beach, which is now reggae island at the age of 7. Sudine also sang at church on sundays, raising morning assemblies at her old primary school "the Estridge Primary School".
She had consistant musical aspirations, writing songs in her spare time and singing day in and day out at home. To better her skills. In early 2005 SudiePop, joined a small singing group called "The Loonz" and at that present time she was only 13 years of age.
Sudine was in the group for 3 years. But left in mid 2007 to further persue her dreams as a solo artiste. Finally in mid 2007, SudiePop saw her dreams becoming a reality when she released her first single "You On My Mind" featuring Jah-Fire.
Her fans congratulated her on a song well done, and they loved her vybz and energy towards everything. and often people always told her that she sang like this famous lady called "Shaday".
SudiePop performed her single at her show "Kittians Got Talent"which she had over the summer.The show was about exposing local talent in st.kiits, and sudine took the oppertunity to do just that, when winn fm 98.9 asked her to be the host of the show on their station during her summer vacation, it turned out excellent.The winner won a trip to jamaica and a recording contract and also to do a music video.
SudiePop has been singing professionally for one year and couple months starting in 2007. and already she knows and have met celebrities like Queen Ifrica which is her god mother may i add, Tony Rebel which is her god father as well, Munga Honourable her uncle,Elephant-Man, Toddler her bonified friend, Passaeralla, Alaine, Tamac,Kidd Rasta,freddie mcgregor, his son chino,laden,singing sweet,jah cure,bush man, bankie banks and many others. SudiePop will be doing singles with some of these artistes and shortly after a few music videos. So expect big things to come from SudiePop.
Currently SudiePop has been organasing shows, performing at big events and shows and also she has been M.Cing at shows as well. SudiePop is a very clever & beautiful, shes a girl with a great mind and big goals for her ahead and also she is a big inspiration for young local talented youths coming up in the business.
SudiePop sings Reggae,R&b, Dancehall and also Hip Hop.SudiePop lets all the sides of her being clearly represented on her album "The Birth", singing about Life & Love.
